We became part of the global group Contabo, allowing for access to their 13 data centres all over the world, including the USA, India, SIngapore, and Japan.Contabo Group

Our turnover increased by 20%, we welcomed 23 new colleagues and added 756 new pieces of equipment such as physical services, virtual servers, and switches.

Our new client zone offered a better experience of most user activities and provided greater clarity.

We became a member of a secure NIX VLAN called FENIX, through which we established a level of security for our backbone networks. We were also the first Czech company to become a member of the MANRS internet community, supporting activities focused on securing global internet routing.

We were able to see the potential of this highly successful service and invested in the experts who run it. We offered a completely managed solution focused on applications running in Docker containers.

We carried out an upgrade to 100Gbps infrastructure and were the first hosting company to establish 100Gbps connectivity to the rest of the world, more specifically to the leading TIER1 operation, Telia Sonera. At the same time, we set up optical connectivity with Google so now vshosting~ networks are directly connected to Google.

In terms of client numbers, we were growing faster than ever. This was largely due to the e-commerce sector, where we are the biggest player in the Czech and Slovak markets.

Due to the rapid expansion of our team we opened another two branches designated for development, business and marketing colleagues.

We joined the Slovak peer node NIX.SK.

We fundamentally transformed our network infrastructure. The network runs on Nexus 7k and Juniper MX960 routers. Everything is duplicated – even supervisors are in individual boxes for maximum security. We also upgraded the lines to other countries by 100% as well as lines to NIX.CZ by 100% capacity.

We launched a new ticketing system which we developed in-house. As a result, we made communication with clients clearer and provided them with greater control over the servers.

Each section has two independent power branches and each branch contains independent UPS systems on a N+1 redundancy.

We grew our revenue by 30%. We acquired 200 new clients and added 800 new servers.

As we’re the only data centre in the Czech Republic, we also back up the data centre cooling system with UPS.

We built our own modern data centre in Prague, where our administrators and technicians are available to our clients 24/7. Even at night and weekends. All aspects of our servers are monitored.More about out data centre

The need for the certainty of a secure and well-equipped base and the ability to have everything under our own control led us to the idea of building our own data centre.

After only three years, we’ve grown from a small startup to a company with dozens of employees and hundreds of clients.

From the beginning we made outstanding technological infrastructure a priority.

We have our own autonomous system, our own backbone network, and we moved to a dedicated data room at TTC, which was created for us.

Damir Špoljarič and Jan Martinů found vshosting~. ČSFD.cz became our first client and is still with us to this day.
